Dr. Chris Young

Executive Director, Ampion Academy

Chris spent 30 years as a firefighter and EMT and two decades in pastoral counseling before moving into property adjusting and appraisal. That path shapes how he speaks: plainly, from experience, and with an eye on what happens to people when the pressure is on. Today he leads Ampion Academy, holds a Doctorate of Ministry, and writes the Perspectives blog on integrity and ethics in claims.

Speaking topics
Your Name Matters
Integrity in appraisal, and why reputation is the only asset that follows you file to file.
How Good People Drift
The ethical traps that catch well-meaning professionals, and how to spot them early.
Claims Settlement Negotiation Tactics

Chelsy Bell Carpenter

Vice President of Business Development

With about 15 years in the insurance industry, including time handling claims directly, Chelsy has seen what it takes to build a successful career and what it costs when well-being gets ignored along the way. She speaks and consults on workplace wellness and career sustainability for high-stakes professionals, and created The Stabilization Method and the Built to Last Workshop. Her conviction: drive and well-being can, and should, coexist.

Speaking topics
The Stabilization Method
Nervous system regulation, effective communication and workplace discipline as one practice.
Burnout Recovery for High-Stakes Pros
Evidence-based tools for staying sharp through CAT seasons without burning out.
